Mr. Shahid Ullah, completed his M.Sc. degree from Dhaka University and has more than 28 years of professional experience in rural socio-economic development issue. Mr. Shahid along with likeminded social workers established DISA in 1993 and since than he is leading the organization with the vision to reduce poverty from Bangladesh. Mr. Shahid attended in a number of Training at home and abroad (like: USA, Europe & South Asia) on different areas like Microfinance, Microenterprise, Organizational Management & Development, Human Resource Development, Development Management, Financial Management, Strategic Planning, Community Development, Dairy & Livestock Development and management, Rural Development, Social Services, Fund Raising, and Program Designing etc. He has expertise on microfinance, microenterprise development, volunteer development, child rights protection and community library management. Aloghar (A community based library system) is a unique concept of Mr. Shahid Ullah by which he is now working to enlighten the community.
